About Emma
I have been teaching music since the age of 16, and many of my students have enjoyed success in ABRSM Grades (both Classical and Jazz). I am comfortable teaching face to face and over Skype and can be flexible catering to your needs. I always plan my lessons around each student individually - so if there's a specific piece or song you've always wanted to play, let me know!

I know that everyone wants different things from learning to play, so I don't teach from books very often - instead I'll work with you, discovering what you want to play, how you want to sound and I'll show you what you need to know to get there. I focus heavily on teaching you to become an all round musician, by training your musical ear and theory, rather than just simply showing you what buttons to press.
