About Jordan
I am a singer-songwriter and recent music graduate. I have a Masters degree in songwriting and have been writing songs for over 10 years and currently still writing many songs. I have co written songs with people of different skill levels, sharing my experiences and knowledge of songwriting to help others with creating songs for assignments, briefs and for fun.

My teaching method is 1 to 1 or group zoom sessions, looking at particular songwriting tools and formats that are used to build a song from scratch. I base my classes on books from Ralph Murphy, Pat Pattison and Andrew West, as well as my own personal experiences as a songwriter. I approach each topic by looking at examples of writers who have used these tools in their practice, as well as deconstructing popular songs and using the format to gain a better understanding of how the songs were created.
