I am 22 years old and have recently finished university with a 1:1 in music.
Learning an instrument should be fun and easy and it's often the teaching methods that can trip us up. Therefore my teaching methodology is simplicity, flexibility and student orientated.
Every student has a unique way of learning and finding the right way for you is my main priory, as well have a good time while doing so.
I help students focus in on specific issues as well as coaching them in healthy practising techniques.
I am due to take a teachers assistant position to a violin teacher to help students apply what was learnt in a lesson into their practise.
My previous experience is working on group music courses, tutoring ensembles and have been doing so since the age of 16.

She’s incredibly hard working and caring and is a great role model
Excellent tutor. I was struggling to remember how to play after 8 years not playing, she helped me relearn with ease.
Have known Isobel since she started herself in our children's orchestra SUPERSTRINGS. Obviously she is NOW expert with her violin, which always helps.
Great with children and adults- really gets that people learn at different rates.
Very trustworthy and a delight to be with; totally gets kids.
Isobel really thinks about posture and the way the person relates to the instrument which is very helpful to the pupil as they form habits.
Isobel is a great teacher for all levels - carefully matching her approach depending on your goals, practice level and experience. Extremely patient and understanding, my lessons feel engaging yet relaxed and most importantly fun! I look forward to watching my playing progress as my lessons continue.
Isobel has a gentle and encouraging teaching style
Giving confidence, to her students, with clear positive teaching.
