About Gavin
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Classical Music: 1st class (Leeds College of Music) Grade 8 ABRSM: Piano performance Grade 5 ABRSM: Theory I have studied piano for the past 14 years and have been teaching both piano and theory since my second year of university in 2012. I continue to study music and though I only have my grade 5 theory officially, I can teach up to and beyond grade 8.

My main goal when teaching is to follow the interests of the pupil, and hopefully to give them the tools to teach themselves without a teacher eventually. The free introductory lesson will involve a discussion of what you are hoping to get out of lessons and a few basic things, this will allow me the chance to start preparing more specific lessons. I studied classical music at university but I also learn pop and jazz music.
