About Jack
I'm a music graduate looking to start teaching and following my life's passion - music. I enjoy teaching and helping people improve their skills. I understand neurodivergent traits/diagnoses and am mindful of how we can get this information to stick into someone's mind - and that will change person to person. Finding the right approach is important to me, so your lessons are comfortable.
I find that learning guitar can be the most rewarding and the most frustrating journey! Without somebody to help keep us inspired and encouraged, it can be really difficult to understand why we started. That's where I come in!
Having a tutor will keep you encouraged and help manage your expectations through setting attainable goals. I'm realistic, honest, and I'm always excited to hear about someone's aspirations. I will ensure you're comfortable in your learning whilst also encouraging you to push your comfort zones. This is how we gain confidence and become versatile musicians.

I am a patient and resourceful tutor, willing to let you guide yourself towards your passions whilst incorporating the essentials of guitar into your natural direction.
It's important to know what you want out of guitar lessons, so I'd like to take the time to understand what music you like and if you have any influences you feel inspired by.
I am interested to know how you feel you learn best, and to work with that to empower you on your journey in learning guitar!
Each lesson is 1 hour long. I am a music graduate from Waterbear Brighton, I hold an enhanced DBS. I am very happy to teach beginners or more experienced people wanting to deepen their experience in genres such as blues, ragtime, finger picking, rock n' roll, rock.
