About Nicolae

Hi! My name is Nicolae, and I am an Italian percussionist, drummer and music producer currently living in London. Music has been a central part of my life for many years, and I have developed my skills through academic studies, live performances and music production.

I hold a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Percussion from Italian conservatories, and I am currently studying for an MA in Creative Music Production at ICMP in London. My musical background includes classical percussion, drums, electronic music and music production.

As a musician, I have performed at important live events and festivals and collaborated with artists from the Italian music scene, including national artists. As a music producer, I have worked across different genres, from urban music to indie dance and electronic music. These experiences have helped me develop a versatile musical approach and a practical understanding of different styles, both on stage and in the studio.

Alongside my studies, I have experience as a music teacher, helping students develop their skills and confidence. I enjoy sharing what I have learned and finding the right approach for each person, whether they want to learn an instrument, start producing music or develop their existing knowledge.

I believe that learning music should be both structured and enjoyable, with space for experimentation, creativity and personal expression. My goal is to help each student build solid musical skills while developing their own sound and identity.

I look forward to helping you explore music, develop your skills and work towards your musical goals!

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, musical interests and level of experience. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience, I will help you develop your skills through a practical and personalised approach.

In music production lessons, we can work on Ableton Live, beat-making, sound design, arrangement and the fundamentals of mixing. I believe in learning by doing, so we will focus on practical exercises and creating music together, while developing your understanding of the techniques behind each process.

I also offer drum lessons, focusing on rhythm, coordination, technique and musical expression. Lessons are adapted to each student, with exercises designed to build confidence and encourage creativity.

I hold a Master's degree in Percussion from an Italian conservatory and am currently studying for an MA in Creative Music Production at ICMP in London. My background combines classical percussion training, live performance and electronic music production.

I have experience teaching music and adapting my approach to each student's needs, age and level. My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate students, including teenagers and adults. I aim to help every student develop their own musical identity, build solid practical skills and gain confidence in their musical journey.
