About Kit
I am a music enthusiast from Cambridge who moved to Manchester a few years ago and have now graduated with a first class honours in Music Production. In that time my band has been signed to a record label and we've been consistently gigging and recording professional music. From struggling with learning when I was younger, I want to approach teaching in a much more interest-based manner, targeting enjoyment alongside relevancy. I hope to also offer advice when it comes to songwriting and the music industry as a whole and how it all works. I want to teach an instrument but also foster a passion for music.

I am a beginner tutor but have worked in schools previously so I do have experience in the teaching field. Length of lessons would be 30 minutes for younger children and 45 minutes to an hour for teens and adults, all of which would be beginner lessons to teach the foundations. Instead of approaching in a dry, formulaic manner with scales and theory, I would start with learning favourite songs with the aim of understanding the foundations of melody, harmony and rhythm that makes them great.
