About Matt
Hi, I'm Matt & I'm a DJ & Music Producer.
I've released music on Optimo Music, Osare Editions, Brownswood Recordings & Wolf Music, with much more to come! I've dj'ed on NTS radio, Balaami & Noods radio.
I've worked for labels, run my own small independent label, worked for music distributers, promoted nights and dj'ed for over 15 years.
I've been dj'ng since 2005 & teaching for 5 years, I really enjoy the teaching experience with many successful previous clients.

Hi, I'm Matt & I'm a music producer and dj with releases on Optimo Music, Utter, R.I.O, Osare Editions, Brownswood Recordings & Wolf Music. Happy to cover a variety of genres from HipHop to dnb to Techno and beyond.
I've been a dj & production tutor for 5 years now, here's some information about my services.
DJ Tuition - VINYL / DIGITAL
Digital DJ Tuition:
Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus NXS2 / DJM 900 NXS2 MIXER - Industry standard setup.
Vinyl DJ TUITION: Technics 1210 mk2

How to mix, blend, scratch
Beatmatch, cue, fade, cut, avoid key clashes

I'm open to anyone from beginners to more experienced individuals.
I will tailor sessions to individual needs and skills, my sessions are informal and relaxed and ideally fun!
For beginners, I find it best to jump in and get on with it, learn through doing and the more technical stuff can be learnt as you improve and get used to the techniques.
For advanced students, we’ll focus on sharpening up specific areas.
PRICES
Each session is a minimum of an hour long, although I would recommend two hour slots.
You can book a one off session or blocks of sessions, although I would recommend a block, as it's better for momentum and incremental improvement.
1 hour: £30
2 hours: £60
10% discount on a block of 10 hours
Students will also need to book studio time at Pirate Studios.

Also happy to do home studio sessions in Teddington.
