About Marion
I have been giving violin and viola lessons for around 3 years, mainly teaching complete beginners, with one of my pupils recently passing her Grade 1 with a high merit. I have also tutored for GCSE music exams, with my pupil receiving an A* in his examination.

I am a student in my second year at the University of Manchester reading Music. I give instrumental tuition in viola and violin, as well as tutoring in music theory in preparation for academic and ABRSM/Trinity exams. I give tuition to students of all ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to intermediate level. My methods of teaching are clear and methodical, and I tailor all my lessons to the ability level of my students, with a emphatic, non judgemental emphasis on ensuring my students have a full understanding of the content being taught to them- no question is too silly! I am a friendly, enthusiastic tutor with recent experience in academic and music exam systems, meaning I have up-to-date knowledge on how to prepare pupils for upcoming exams. I have a passion for music accessibility, and I ensure this shines through into my tuition. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
