About Bryanna
In May 2024, I will obtain my Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from Baldwin Wallace University. This is the same program where Colton Ryan, Ciara Reneé, Zach Adkins, and
so and so many more trained more trained. During my time at BW, I studied under Dr. Joanne Unitowski, where I continued to hone vocal freedom and versatility. I also took additional classes and workshops in vocal pedagogy, and performance/sport psychology to fully learn the anatomy of the voice, and how our nervous system affects it.
Before I pursued my Bachelor’s I had been studying voice since I was 9 years old, competed at national and global levels, and had the privilege to work with countless teachers on different techniques to master my voice and find my sound. When given
the opporutnity to study in-person with a local voice teacher, or take zoom lessons with others abroad, I chose the zoom option and now have 4 years, as well as three university semesters of zoom vocal education under my belt. I know the challenges,
but having been a student, have a great understanding of what works, what doesn’t, and how to achieve even more over a screen than in person.

The three pillars of my vocal studio are confidence, versatility, and health. I believe that every voice is a puzzle that just needs the right combination of exercises, analogies, and time to flourish, develop, and thrive. The technique I will be teaching is a combination of CCM and Linklater which both focus on utilizing the full body when singing, vocal awareness, and building technical foundations to achieve complete vocal freedom. Beyond the primary focus of lessons being centred around the voice, I will also be providing some acting through the song coaching as sometimes truly living in the moment is what is standing between you and a performance-ready piece.
