About Elle
I'm a violinist, pianist, composer, and music theory student with 700+ hours of study. I'm currently taking composition and music theory lessons with Fabian Lueng, the winner of the National Young Composers Challenge and a student of Kevin Puts--a Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer. I'm taking violin lessons from Kiara Saito-Beckman, a violinist with prestige after placing in several international competitions such as the Stulburg, and I've had masterclasses with musicians such as Alexander Markov. In terms of music theory, I'm a high school student, but my academic experience includes several semesters worth of college-level music theory, and much of my study is additionally done in my personal time outside of class with nearly 1,000 hours of study in the past several years alone.

Hi everyone!! As a teacher, I'm patient, thoughtful, and compassionate. I treat all of my students with the same degree of respect, no matter their age or experience, and I empathize with them as they learn so that I can better adapt to suit their needs and learning styles--helping them along in their music theory journey. In the past, I've taught violin to students ages 4-16, but I am open to teaching students of all ages and experience levels.
