About Katie
Hello! My name is Katie Davis and I am from Los Angeles, CA. I am currently studying at Trinity College Dublin to obtain my Masters in Social Work. I have always loved working with young students and have tutored English to children in my neighborhood, worked as a camp counselor, and have been a special needs aid.
I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and my favorite classes were always English. I received top marks on every English standardized test and believe that I am fully qualified to tutor English to students aged 5-15.

My lessons vary in time based on the needs of the student. My strength is tutoring at a primary school level and would love to help with spelling, grammar, punctuation, reading, conjugation, essay writing, and literature analysis. I can work with children age 5-15.
My teaching style encompasses a reflective and collaborative approach where you and I will work together to solve the problem using your strengths and my help. This learning process will allow reflection.
I have a lot of experience working with children and adolescents. I have worked as a tutor for young children around the age of 7 in the past, but have also been a nanny, camp counselor, and an aid for children with disabilities.
