About Sarah
I tested out of my language requirement at college, since my level was assessed to be fully bilingual in French. However, since I am passionate about French and Francophone cultures, I decided to concentrate on Francophone studies, on top of my major. While at my school, Trinity College in Hartford, I served as VP of the Francophone Club, and took the highest level French classes. In addition, I have Francophone heritage and often have to use the language in my daily interactions.

I had to reteach myself French at times throughout adolescence, as when I spent time in Anglophone settings, I would often forget some French. However, I retain a level C1/C2 in French, so that combined with the fact I have had to relearn French sometimes helps me to know how to teach the language to people who might be confused by certain things, since I have been through it myself. I believe that this combined with my high fluency level and Francophone background makes me a unique candidate as a French tutor.
