About Karam
Hi, I’m Karam, a native Arabic speaker with an academic background in economics, finance, and international business. I’m passionate about languages and communication, and I enjoy helping people discover Arabic in a practical and comfortable way.
One of the most important things I want my students to feel is that they can speak Arabic without being afraid of making mistakes. My lessons are friendly, patient, and adapted to each student’s level and goals.
During our lessons, you will not only learn Arabic—you will actually use it. For example, from your first lessons, we can practice useful expressions such as:
بالفصحة: مرحباً! كيف حالك؟
بالعامية: مرحبا كيفك؟
Marḥaban! Kayfa ḥāluka? — “Hello! How are you?”
بالفصحة: أنا بخير، شكراً
بالعامية: تمام شكراً
Anā bikhayr, shukran. — “I’m fine, thank you.”
اسمي Karam، ما اسمك؟
Ismī Karam, mā ismuk? — “My name is Karam. What is your name?”
These simple conversations can gradually develop into longer and more natural discussions as your confidence improves.
I explain Arabic clearly and step by step, using practical examples, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary, conversation, and grammar when needed. I also help students understand the difference between Modern Standard Arabic and Syrian/Levantine Arabic, depending on their goals.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons rather than following exactly the same approach with everyone. Whether you are starting from zero, already know some Arabic, or simply want to become more confident in conversation, we can build a learning plan that works for you.

My teaching approach is based on communication and real-life situations rather than memorizing long lists of grammar rules. I believe that students learn faster when they actively use the language, so from the beginning, I encourage you to speak, ask questions, make mistakes, and gradually build confidence.
My teaching method
I adapt every lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. Depending on what you need, we can focus on Modern Standard Arabic, Syrian/Levantine Arabic, conversation, pronunciation, reading, writing, vocabulary, or grammar.
I use practical examples, dialogues, everyday expressions, pronunciation exercises, and interactive activities. I also explain grammar clearly and step by step, so you understand not only what to say, but also why it is said that way.
What does a typical lesson look like?
A typical lesson may include:
• A short conversation to practice speaking
• New vocabulary and useful everyday expressions
• Pronunciation and listening practice
• A simple explanation of the relevant grammar
• Practical exercises and dialogues
• Feedback and corrections
• A short review or homework task for the next lesson
The content changes according to your progress and objectives. If your goal is speaking, we will spend more time communicating. If you are starting from zero, we will build your Arabic step by step, beginning with the basics.
My goal is not simply to teach you Arabic vocabulary and grammar. I want you to become comfortable using Arabic in real situations and feel confident communicating with Arabic speakers.
