About Emily
I am a native British CELTA qualified English Language teacher with years of experience working with the English language, namely in the British book publishing industry. I run a small freelance editing business where I edit fiction and nonfiction in the English language so I have an excellent command of grammar and vocabulary.
I also have experience working with children supporting their English acquisition in school. My students went from shy wallflower to energetic and chatty within a matter of weeks - often it just takes someone investing time in their learning and a little fun!

Unless the student is working towards a specific qualification, my method of teaching is to focus on spoken communication and fun! I cover vocabulary, grammar/structure and fluency, using a range of activities including video, reading, debating and more. I use a private platform.
