About Tariq
I was born and educated in the UK and worked for many years as a Solicitor in England, advising clients from a wide range of professional and international backgrounds. My legal career gave me extensive experience in professional communication, negotiations, meetings, interviewing techniques, drafting documents, client relations, and workplace English.
I now help professionals improve their confidence, fluency, accuracy, and communication skills in real-world business and legal contexts.

I currently live in Scotland near Edinburgh and have also lived in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Nottingham, giving me broad knowledge of British culture, accents, and professional life across the UK.

My lessons are supportive, practical, and relaxed, helping students feel comfortable speaking English from the very beginning. In our first lesson, I will discuss your objectives, current level, strengths, and areas for improvement so that I can create a learning plan tailored to your needs.
I work especially well with adult learners and international professionals who want to improve their Business English, Legal English, interview skills, workplace communication, or overall fluency and confidence in professional situations.
As I am currently learning German myself, I understand the challenges language learners face and the importance of patience, encouragement, and clear communication during lessons.
