I am an international student in Derby, England, originally from Bulgaria, and I'm offering English lessons. If you're a native Bulgarian speaker and wish to learn or improve your English skills, I am the tutor for you.
I may not be a qualified teacher however, I possess the passion for teaching and helping others learn by passing on my knowledge and experience in a fun, clear and patient manner. I strive to create a friendly learning environment by getting to know my students in the process and adapting the assignments accordingly to their needs and strengths.
Usually, I begin by determining the level at which the student is, their strengths and weaknesses, and what needs more work. Then I focus on the troubled areas by providing fun exercises and guidance.
Each lesson would ideally consist of us going over the homework the student has been assigned and discussing the mistakes they've made. We would then practice speaking, both in the form of a monologue and a dialogue.
I am also considering using the online system ClassDojo to manage the sessions and keep the student/parents informed with the student's progress.
