About Lin
Hello, everyone. This is Evelyn speaking.
I’m a native Chinese speaker with a bachelor's degree in English major. In China, I teach people how to speak in English.
And I’m also a certified teacher who has taught Mandarin online for my foreign college students in China for more than 500 hours.
My students like to have classes with me very much. Because I have a relaxed, interesting teaching style, patient explanation, rich and practical teaching content. My classes are based on the real-life situations, and focus on teaching you how to use Chinese language in the most common and natural way.
Other than that, I also used to be a teacher of Chinese tea culture. So, if you are interested, I would be more than happy to share with you this fantastic fine culture of China.

My classes are based on the real-life situations. I offer two types of classes here.
1. For beginner up to learners with HSK3 competence. I offer structured Mandarin classes to cover your learning needs including listening, speaking, writing and reading. And of course, if you want, we can also only just focus on listening and speaking. If the characters are not one of your learning goals.
2. For students with higher competence, I offer conversational classes. But this it not only just about free-chatting. At the class time, useful vocabularies and grammars will be taught during our conversation. And you will get take-away notes after each class.
