About Yuan
I am a Chinese native speaker with Chinese teaching & tutor experience for over four years. I am currently a graduate student in Education at McGill. I used to work as a cultural program coordinator in the US for one year. My job includes teaching Chinese and holding Chinese cultural events. Except for that, I worked as a part-time language teacher and have been working with over one hundred Chinese language learners. I believe just being able to speak a language doesn't make you a good teacher of that language. I majored in linguistics so I know how to teach language scientifically. I also did my undergraduate thesis on second language acquisition.
