About Kyra
I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Philosophy, and I am currently working on my Masters in Communications at McGill University.
I have experience tutoring English, 5+ years of professional proofreading and editing experience, and 5+ years of professional writing experience.
I can assist in papers related to English, Humanities, Communications, and more.
I also have a background in creative writing, and have been doing creative writing on the side for over 10 years!

My teaching methods utilize a more unique learning approach to help better prepare learners for day-to-day interactions and communications. As a polyglot and student myself, I understand how important it is to feel supported and learn in a judgment-free environment. I always ensure to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment where students can make mistakes without fear of judgment.
For students looking to improve their writing skills, I use the students' previous writing to identify areas that may need improvement. I then work with the student to help draft new material to help expand on their newly learned skills.
