About Leighton
Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Leighton! After completing high school with 2 years of French study, I completed a 6-week French immersion study to deepen my skills. I then spent 2 years in the French-speaking country of the Republic of the Congo! Upon returning home, I continued to improve my language skills and teaching ability through offering online French lessons. My favorite part of learning a new language is how many new people it allows me to connect with! I love French and want to help you find a passion for it as well! I am also a dental student :)

I take a student-centered approach as a tutor. I am focused on setting goals with you and planning to achieve them through our lessons. Patience and practice are key to improving and reaching your goals. I will provide you with a personalized study sheet for each lesson. I have found the best way to learn is through immersion, so I will also offer part of the session speaking French only to help make those neuronal connections leading to deeper learning.
