About Namita
I am a communications specialist from London.
I hold a background and a BA Honours degree in media and communications, and I worked in the areas of media arts and education.
I worked in media arts tutoring where I taught elementary school children how to express themselves, be creative and speak fluently through running film production and storytelling workshops.
Working at a literacy organisation for elementary school children has given me confidence to learn and teach English language at an elementary level, helping young children to learn to read, write and speak regardless of background or need.
I also love to travel, and currently an expat in Slovenia. I combine my love for travel and meeting new people to now help foreigners improve their spoken English through language exchange groups and events.
I am someone who loves to help others be able to communicate and express themselves to the fullest so that they are able to live, work and thrive for a bright future.

Sessions are 1 hour long and include a mixture of interactive and creative exercises to help students put their newly learnt skills into practice.
I use a mixture of role-play, picture descriptions, flashcards, collaborative drawing and story building to make learning English engaging and fun. I hold 5 years of experience teaching, including working in a literacy organisation for elementary school children and teaching media arts at an arts organisation for 4-8-year-old children.
Since my move from London to Ljubljana 3 years ago, I have also been involved in language exchange groups where I teach foreigners, helping them improve their written and spoken English.
