About Jean-Baptiste
I’m a French native speaker with 10 years of experience teaching French in France, Los Angeles, Boston, and now Connecticut.
My main focus is conversation practice: helping you feel more comfortable speaking French naturally and confidently in real-life situations. Whether you’re a beginner looking to start speaking, an intermediate learner who wants to become more fluent, or an advanced speaker who wants to maintain and refine your French, I’ll adapt our conversations to your level, interests, and goals.
We can talk about everyday life, travel, French culture, work, current topics, or anything you enjoy while naturally working on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and expressions along the way.

Jean-Baptiste has been my teacher for more than 4 years. I think it’s a good explanation why he is a trustworthy teacher.
We meet on zoom every week. He is always very flexible with my schedule. My French is much better now. Thank you JBJean-Baptiste is a wonderfully patient teacher and provides great focus on correct pronunciation. I found him on Superprof and have not been disappointed. Jean-Baptiste (J-B) is very reliable and has a very unique and fun way to teach while keeping the material relevant to real situations. When I arrived in France for my studies I couldn't speak French. I mean only "Bonjour" and "Au revoir".
