About Nina
I'm a native French speaker originally from Franche-Comté, now based in London. Outside of teaching, I work in project management, but my real passion for French comes from sharing my language and culture with people who are genuinely curious about it. I believe learning a language shouldn't feel like homework — it should feel like unlocking a new way to connect with people, places, and culture. When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me behind a camera, on a tennis court, or planning my next trip.

French is my native language, and I've spent real time teaching it one-to-one — most notably teaching my partner from scratch to conversational level, which taught me exactly how English speakers struggle with French and how to explain it so it actually clicks. My lessons focus on practical, real-life French — conversation first, with grammar introduced naturally as we go — tailored to your goals, whether that's travel, confidence-building, or connecting with French family or friends. Sessions typically run 45–60 minutes and are designed for adults of all levels, from complete beginners to intermediate learners. I don't hold a formal teaching qualification, but I bring native fluency, patience, and a genuine love of the language to every lesson.
