About Felix
Although my full-time job is not related to teaching, I have many years of experience in social work with a big variety of clienteles, from preschool kids (3 to 6 years old) to adolescents with behavioral disorders and even adults under a particular immigration status. My goal is to get you to a point where you feel confident in speaking French to your friends and family and to help you develop a new skill that will open your doors to a number of great opportunities in the future.

My approach is simple and family-oriented. For younger students, I tend to include the parents in my first lessons to explain the process and to clearly identify the student's needs. Lessons typically last 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the student's focus and energy. A lesson plan would usually start with basic vocabulary and common usage words, verbally and in writing. We would then gradually work our way up to grammatical lessons and reading improvement. I always like to introduce aspects of the French-Canadian culture in my lessons (books, music, movies) to help with the integration of what was learned during the lessons.
This lesson is dedicated to anyone upward of 10-12 years old with a desire to learn a new language. I also speak Spanish and Portuguese for families who are more comfortable with another language.
