About Christel
I was born and raised in Belgium. I've lived in the US for over 20 years. I am currently a correctional officer, but also working towards a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I offer private French lessons (Lvl I & II).

I utilize visual and auditory methods to teaching a new language, in this case French, just as I've learned. I will base the teaching on a typical language curriculum. Vocabulary, first and foremost, with correct spelling and accurate pronunciation. Secondly, short conversational phrases, and auditory exercises to grow accustomed to the language for level I lessons. I would like to recommend my wife, Christel. I believe that she will be an excellent French tutor since she helped me learn the language a few years ago. She was happy to help me with correct spelling and some difficult pronunciations. She is quite intelligent and speaks English better than some people that I grew up with here in the US. She got Associates degrees in 2 different majors at college at the same time while working part time. She completed those degrees with honors and a 4.0 average.
