About Ines

I’m a native French speaker from the South of France, currently studying for a Master’s in Politics & Communication at the London School of Economics (LSE).

Before coming to the UK, I spent two years in Hypokhâgne/Khâgne, France’s most demanding preparatory programme in literature and humanities, and was shortlisted for the entrance exams of the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, one of France’s most selective institutions. I then studied History and English at La Sorbonne in Paris, followed by a Master’s in Political Science at the University of St Andrews.

This training gave me something I now pass on to my students: a deep knowledge of the French language, its grammar and culture, and a very structured way of learning and explaining.

About the lesson

Every lesson is built around your goal:

Conversation & fluency: relaxed, engaging discussions to help you speak natural, everyday French with confidence (adults and children)
Exam preparation: Bac, Brevet, GCSE, A-level, IB, DELF/DALF, with structured lessons, practice exercises and mock oral exams
Writing skills: grammar, written expression, essay methodology
Homework help & school support: for pupils in British schools or French schools in London (Lycée Charles de Gaulle, etc.)

I currently teach students with very different profiles, from young children learning through conversation and games to a teacher preparing for the DELF alongside her full-time job. I adapt the pace, the materials and the method to each person.

Lessons online or in person in Chelsea, Kensington and the surrounding areas. Message me to tell me about your goals and we’ll build a plan together!
