About Louise
I’m a native French speaker from Paris and studied at King’s College London as a French student, so I’m very used to switching between French and English every day. Having studied and lived in an English-speaking environment, I understand the difficulties that come with thinking, studying and communicating in two languages, especially when it comes to gaining confidence when speaking.
Before King’s, I completed a prépa littéraire in Paris, which gave me a strong background in French language, literature and writing. I also have two years of experience tutoring younger students in Hong Kong. I really enjoy helping students feel more comfortable with French and try to make my lessons friendly, encouraging and adapted to each person.

I adapt my lessons to each student’s level and goals, with a strong focus on writing, speaking and building confidence in French. I can also help with grammar, literature and exam preparation. Having obtained the French Baccalauréat with Mention Très Bien and Félicitations du Jury, I can particularly help students preparing for the French Baccalauréat. I have two years of tutoring experience in Hong Kong, where I mainly taught French to primary and middle school students. Lessons are usually one hour, relaxed and interactive, and open to all ages and levels.
