About Syndie
I am a native French speaker who grew up and studied in France, before moving to NC. Having learned and used French in both everyday life and academic settings, I understand how to help students navigate both sides of the language.
I am reliable and easy to work with, and I really focus on making sure each student feels comfortable and supported. I try to adapt to what you need so the lessons feel useful and not overwhelming.
My goal is to create a relaxed but structured environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and actually improve with confidence!

My approach focuses on helping students actually use French, not just memorize it. As a native speaker, I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, whether it’s improving grades, preparing for exams, or building confidence in conversation.
A typical lesson includes a quick review, followed by targeted practice in grammar, vocabulary, or speaking, with real-life examples to make the language feel natural. I keep lessons interactive and adjust the pace so students feel comfortable and supported.
I have experience working one-on-one with students and enjoy creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. My goal is to make French feel accessible and enjoyable!
