I use the active teaching method as it is best to maximize the student's learning. A typical lesson plan will include a summary overview, some practice examples, a more extended learning by reviewing those examples, then an in-class exercise. Homework will focus on getting students to use their learning in social settings. I primarily teach beginners, especially people who are going to spend some time abroad, and looking to get a head start learning the language.
