About Mounia
What sets me apart is my 17 years of international teaching experience across three continents — Morocco in Africa, Belgium in Europe, and Washington D.C. in the United States. I have taught students from Pre-K through 12th grade and worked with learners from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. My multilingual and multicultural experience allows me to connect with students easily and adapt my teaching to their individual needs.
My lessons are designed for children, teenagers, and adults at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels. Whether students are learning French for school, travel, work, conversation, or personal enrichment, I provide personalized support to help them progress with confidence.

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and designed to make language learning natural and enjoyable. I use storytelling, real-life conversations, and vocabulary-based learning rather than focusing heavily on grammar memorization. I also incorporate the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to adapt lessons to different learning styles, helping every student feel confident and supported.
A typical lesson includes conversation practice, vocabulary building, pronunciation activities, storytelling, listening comprehension, and interactive exercises tailored to the student’s level and goals. I create engaging and personalized lessons that encourage students to speak French from the very beginning in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
