About Cornélia
I am a French translator (Italian & English to French), currently working as a French language assistant in Italy in high schools. I have a master degree in translation (Ecole supérieure d'interprètes et de traducteurs, Paris) and a training certificate in pedagogy of French as a foreign language (Université de Liège, Belgium).
I teach French since 2018 in class and during private lessons.

I always adapt my lessons to my students' level, depending on their age, objectives and passions, to make the lesson more attractive and motivating.
I use the communicative method, based on practice and the ability to use French in real situations of communication: I always put the emphasis on oral and written productions.
I base my methodology on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. If we have enough time, we will practice all the abilities (writing, reading, speaking and oral comprehension) during the lesson.
During my lessons, depending on the topic, I also try to use various authentic documents, such as videos, songs, French newspapers articles, etc. They permit to discover a part of French culture working on grammar or vocabulary. Besides, they are a way to have a natural exchange of views and cultural experiences!
