About CHARLENE
I have a background in sports studies and currently teach at university level, which has allowed me to develop strong communication and teaching skills.
I am passionate about languages and speak three of them, as I truly believe that learning a new language is a powerful and enriching experience.
I regularly work in schools and have also improved my English in France through various events and immersive experiences.
For me, learning languages is something truly amazing, as it opens the door to travel, new cultures, and a greater understanding of others.

A typical language lesson is structured to help students feel comfortable and actively use the language from the very beginning. It usually starts with a short warm-up, such as a simple conversation or a review of previous material, to build confidence and create a relaxed atmosphere.
Then I introduce a specific topic, which could be vocabulary, grammar, or a real-life situation, using clear explanations and practical examples.
This is followed by guided practice, where the student begins to use the language with support through exercises or short dialogues.
The most important part of the lesson is free practice, where the student speaks more independently through conversation or role-play, helping to build fluency and confidence.
At the end, I provide constructive feedback, correcting mistakes in a supportive way and giving personalized advice.
The lesson finishes with a brief summary and, if needed, a small task to reinforce learning.
Overall, the focus is on making the lesson interactive, practical, and adapted to the student’s level and goals. Pronunciation will also be part of the deal ;)
