About Colin
Hi I'm Colin! I am 26 years old and grew up in Luxembourg in a German-English speaking family. Besides learning German at home I also learnt academic German for 13 years in school. I used to be a private German tutor for students and learnt how important it is to leave room for improvisation and spontaneity in my lessons and not have the lessons hyper-structured. I have noticed that this creates a space where teaching a language feels much more natural and calm and less like a rigid and strict school class. You are welcome to book a free trial lesson with me which will serve as an introduction and where we will have a look at your study goals together and create a study plan.

I offer my teaching to students of all levels wishing to improve their German skills. My first step for each student is to assess your study goals and to create a study plan with you. For each lesson I will prepare materials such as theory, exercises and speaking scenarios to improve your skills. I prefer to teach with a light-hearted attitude and a touch of fun and in my experience this makes the lessons more enjoyable for both the students and me.
