About Elisa
I grew up in Leipzig before doing a BA in English Literature in Loughborough. I then went on to do a master's degree in Norwich and taught myself English. I have always been an avid reader, reading books in English is what most helped my fluency and so I cannot recommend that enough. I am able to offer discounts on German texts and fiction recommendations. If you are an avid reader too, part of your learning experience will include reading and discussing literature to improve your vocabulary and grammar.

I offer a range of lesson times from 30 minutes to an 1.30hr depending on your requirements and learning style. From exercises to widen vocabulary to learning to speak like a native Berliner, I take a highly adaptable and flexible approach to your learning where we will work out the best structure for you. My lessons are catered towards individuals with strong background knowledge who need help with their speaking in both formal an informal settings, and general confidence boosting.

Elisa is super reliable and extremely patient! She is very understanding with pronunciation and timings of the lessons too - this flexibility is really important for me (due to my hectic work schedule). I also love that she tries different techniques and regularly checks in with what works for me. For example, doing flash cards together really boosted my vocabulary because it is best for my memorisation and she supplied all the equipment for us to make together!
