About Pia
Having tutored during my school and university time, I have ample experience in helping others in German.
Since I am currently learning two foreign languages (French and Russian) I am familiar with the difficulties and often frustration that occurs when grammar or word just don't make sense. But I believe that learning a new language and mastering it is worth all the efforts. And German can be

I individually consult with each student beforehand the goals for a our class. If you want to follow a certain language (school) book that is totally fine with me. However, I am happy to prepare materials according to your needs and what you want to learn or the topic you want to improve in.
Grammar is important for me (and I will point out mistakes in an encouraging manner) but I firstly want you to improve your written and oral expression.
I particularly happy to talk and discuss current events and other interesting topics (like art, culture, history) to make the class more enjoyable and I love to use various materials (newspapers, youtube clips, books, music, etc.)
My ideal is to speak only German to you from the start of the class to the finish.
