About Sonja
I am a native speaker originally from Mannheim, Germany now living and working in England. I have a degree in ‘Early Years’ and a PGCE (English teaching degree) and have over 9 years of teaching experience.
I speak fluent English and German. At school I have been in the position of being a second-language learner myself (learning English, Spanish and French) and I can relate to the struggles, but also the passion of learning a new language.
I would love to help you improve your German; whether spoken, written, improving your accent, or simply building your vocabulary.

Language learning should be fun! I like to run lighthearted, friendly sessions, catering to each pupil's needs and listening to what each student wants to work on in order to help them achieve their goals.
I speak very clear German without any dialect and give my best talking slowly and understandably.
The introductory lesson offers an opportunity to get to know each other and for me to find out what it is that you want to learn and improve on.
