About Yuri

I have given lessons to Chinese and Spanish.

None of them had learned Japanese before, but after a couple of months, they all could start writing their diary in Japanese and speaking Japanese.

Having learned 3 non-mother tongue languages, Chinese, English and Spanish, I can tell you that you are always making yourself into the learning environment, bringing you the fastest result.

And the more you enjoy learning it, the faster you learn!

About the lesson

Hi! I am an enthusiastic, responsible and very punctual teacher from Japan.

My Japanese lessons can be given either to beginners or advanced levels, all of which are online.

Do you want to practice oral Japanese? We will decide which topic you might be interested in. Depending on the level you are at, I would like to focus on grammar and pronunciation as well as the contents, but not forgetting the whole point of learning which is to enjoy speaking Japanese!

Do you want to practice writing Japanese? You will be given exercises before lessons, then we will correct your writing together and practice further in the lesson. Topics can be different depending on the level we start at. We can also focus on Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana too; Which even though difficult to master; It will allow us to meet your target of writing Japanese with ease.

Thank you for being interested in everything Japanese!

I am looking forward to be a good enough ambassador of Japan and passionately help you achieve your goal together!

First of all, Yuri is an excellent teacher. Not only I have learnt some key areas such as the particles: "に", "え", "を", "で", "-は", but also enough vocabulary to write a whole book in Japanese; even when I'm not a very good writer. Super amiable, kind and attentive, Yuri is a great listener and can adopt student's goals into her lesson planning. That flexibility is what got me... Being a keen 'Japanophile'; any new knowledge I gather I always cross-check with Yuri and whole new lesson topics spring up from there, which makes the teaching all that more exciting! I write this recommendation in full appreciation of her teaching, being very thankful for initiating me into the 'world' that Japan is.
