About Chen Feng
Hello! My name is Jackie, and I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan currently living in Oregon.
Because I have studied and lived in the United States, I understand both the excitement and frustration of learning another language. I know that students need patience, clear explanations, practical examples, and a comfortable environment where they are not afraid to make mistakes.
I speak Mandarin Chinese and use Traditional Chinese characters. I can help students improve their pronunciation, tones, vocabulary, listening, reading, and everyday conversation while also introducing Taiwanese culture and natural expressions used by native speakers.
My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and focused on each student’s personal goals. Whether you are learning Mandarin for travel, relationships, work, cultural interests, or everyday communication, I will help you develop useful language skills and speak with greater confidence.

My Mandarin lessons are practical, friendly, and personalized to your goals. As a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan, I can help you improve pronunciation, tones, everyday vocabulary, listening, reading, and natural conversation.
Each lesson is adjusted to your current level and interests. Beginners can start with useful phrases, pronunciation, and sentence patterns, while intermediate students can practice longer conversations, reading, and expressing ideas more naturally.
I use real-life situations such as introductions, travel, restaurants, shopping, work, and daily communication. I can also teach Traditional Chinese characters and explain Taiwanese language and culture.
Lessons are supportive and interactive, so you will have plenty of time to speak, ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence. We can use English explanations whenever necessary.
