About Ruijuan
Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker with 12 years of experience teaching in U.S. public schools. I am passionate about helping students learn Chinese in a way that’s fun, interactive, and culturally meaningful. I combine structured language instruction with hands-on activities, games, and real-life scenarios to make learning engaging and practical. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve fluency, and develop a deeper understanding of Chinese culture. When I’m not teaching, I love traveling, hiking, cooking, practicing yoga, and exploring calligraphy—activities I sometimes bring into my lessons to make learning more lively and relatable. Students of all ages—from Pre-K to adult, beginners to advanced—are welcome, including heritage learners and adults interested in business, travel, or personal enrichment.
