I am a fully qualified Spanish high school teacher from Madrid.
My professional background is based on language teaching, particularly in high schools, as an EFL teacher in language schools and as a private language tutor, both in Spain and in Scotland. Having seen the teaching techniques used in different schools I have a good grasp of the standard curriculum, which I believe it is essential when preparing for prelims.
I recently obtained outstanding feedback for my PGDE qualification at the University of Strathclyde. I studied a CELTA teaching certificate in 2016 and a degree in English at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2014.

I structure my lessons around my students’ learning goals and areas of development.
I like to create an encouraging atmosphere which nurtures their confidence and fluency.
Although I have experience working with a diverse range of individuals, my most popular age-group are teenagers and adults. I help them succeed in their SQA examinations and become stronger language learners.
I also tailor independent adult learners and I can ensure total understanding of subject matter adapting to my pupils' needs and learning goals.
