To help my students learn quickly and speak confidently, I focus on conversation. My lessons are centred around a piece of Spanish media (a news article, podcast, movie, song, etc.) that I will discuss with you, correcting you and teaching you new vocabulary as we go, so you can be at ease speaking in Spanish.
I will tailor the lesson to your interests and ask what media you would prefer to focus on, whether that be a book in Spanish you would like to read, a movie on your watchlist, or some news you are interested in reading about. My goal is to make your lessons feel comfortable and fun while being effective, to make this a sustainable experience you look forward to.
As a native Spanish speaker who has become fluent in other languages thanks to lessons, I have had firsthand experience of what works best for people looking to gain speaking ability, and I have prior experience teaching Spanish to English speakers.
