About Raquel
I was born and raised in Canada by Colombian parents. Our home was Spanish-speaking only my whole childhood and my mother made sure we learned to read and write correctly as well. The passion for the Spanish language was instilled in me at a very young age so I have done the same with my daughter.
My background is in Human Resources and Project Management so I am a very organized person.

-Lessons will start with basic vocabulary using the things you like or from your background such as family, music, hobbies, etc. lt's important to identify yourself with new words, and it will make it easier to learn the more difficult things later.
- Having fun is crucial for the learning process. I will always make sure my student is having fun.
- I make sure I communicate with my students and customize lessons in a way that works best for them.
- All ages and levels welcome. I can start with the basics just as well as start conjugating verbs. It's all about what my student needs.
