About Elena
I’m a friendly, patient and sociable person who genuinely enjoys meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals. I have been teaching languages for 7 years and have worked with children, teenagers and adults from different countries and backgrounds.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing my students become more confident and comfortable using Spanish in real life. Whether you are learning for school, exams, work, travel, a hobby or simply because you love the language, I will take the time to understand what you want to achieve and adapt our lessons to you.
I know that speaking a new language can sometimes feel intimidating, so I always try to create a relaxed and positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and practising.
I love socialising and getting to know people, so I also enjoy bringing real conversations and everyday Spanish into my lessons. My goal is not only to teach you the language, but to help you feel confident actually using it!

My lessons are adapted to each student’s level, goals and learning style. I like to keep classes interactive and practical, combining conversation with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing. For younger students, I can follow their school curriculum and provide extra support with homework, exams and areas they find difficult.
For GCSE and DELE students, lessons are more exam-focused. We can work through the different sections of the exam, practise past papers and focus on improving weaker areas while building confidence.
Lessons typically last one hour, although this can be adapted depending on the student’s age and needs.
I am a native Spanish speaker and have 7 years of experience teaching languages. I have taught English in Spain and Spanish to English and Swedish students, both online and in person. I have experience working with children, teenagers and adults.
My lessons are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students. Whether you need help with Spanish at school, are preparing for GCSE or DELE exams, want to improve your conversational Spanish or are simply learning for fun, I will adapt the lessons to your individual goals.
