About Alba
I am a born language teacher with a language career of over 10 years in both Spain and England. I have had the opportunity to work with GCSE ESL Spanish content at Dunraven School, London, thanks to the British Council Grant for New Teachers. I work from secondary school to university level and offer a holistic approach to both oral and written Spanish. I have prepared my lessons according to institutional and GCSE guidelines to meet the requirements of the main language exams. I will help you to pass the exams, focusing on level assessment and encouraging you to achieve your best results.

Through my experience in teaching I have learnt that the personal relationship between student and teacher is crucial in creating a good learning environment. I believe that patience, personal care and the delivery of engaging and amusing lessons are the keys to getting a steady improvement from each student. I try to engage students with interesting and fun facts about the context and background of languages. My long path working with languages has provided me with a large compilation of multimedia content (media, films, music...) to encourage self-learning in the students.
