About Aroa
Hello! My name is Aroa and I am a native Spanish teacher from Málaga (Spain), currently based between Spain and Ireland.
I am a registered Spanish teacher with the Irish Teaching Council and I have teaching experience in Irish public secondary education, where I taught students aged 12 to 18 preparing for the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate (Ordinary and Higher Levels).
My international background —having lived and worked in Ireland, Portugal and the United States— has shaped my open-minded and adaptable teaching style. I am passionate about languages, culture and the arts, especially dance, and I strongly believe that learning a language is also about gaining confidence, discovering new perspectives and connecting with people.
