About Maria
My lessons focus on building confidence in conversational Spanish through guided, spoken practice. Hi! I was born and raised in Spain, and I’ve always had a love for learning and exploring new places. I completed my undergraduate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MSc from Imperial College London. Outside of academics, I enjoy skiing, reading, playing sports, and travelling whenever I get the chance. I also value quality time with my family and friends—whether it's sharing a meal, going on adventures, or just catching up. I'm passionate about education and love helping others understand challenging concepts in a way that makes learning enjoyable and rewarding.
