Hello! I'm a tutor with an eclectic intercultural and interdisciplinary background. My mission is to help students to believe in themselves and their ability to understand new and difficult ideas. By integrating diverse perspectives I show there are many ways to learn something and so break free from limiting beliefs.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my commitment to avoiding assumptions based on conventional teaching methods and dogmatic beliefs about how the human mind works -- particularly that of my student ;) I strive to understand each student's perspective and adapt my teaching style to match their unique way of thinking.
In a typical lesson plan, I take a creative approach to make complex subjects more relatable. For instance, if I'm teaching trigonometry to a fashion-focused teenager, I might draw parallels to Da Vinci's designs and the proportionality in human anatomy. I'll encourage her to imagine creating a maxi skirt using only the measurements of arm length, illustrating the connection between the human body and trigonometry. By linking abstract concepts to concrete, engaging examples, I ensure a deeper understanding.
