About Hagen
I started teaching at the age of 13 next to school, both music lessons but also lessons in maths, english and german. So far I’ve taught 12 students in Germany and the UK.
To me it is very important, that every student is happy with the outcome of my lessons and learns what he or she needs to learn, but also wants to learn. I sacrifice a lot of time to properly prepare my lessons specifically for every student and I am always open for demanded adjustments.

Hello folks,
I am Hagen and I was born in Hamm, Germany 18 years ago. After finishing my General University Entrance Qualification at the age of 16 as the second best student of my year I decided to move to the UK to fulfill my dream, to study music. I started a pop music degree for guitar at ICMP in London, but then transferred to Leeds College of Music to swap from pop to jazz.
I want to help you talk, read and write german for any purpose, your GCSE's, a catch-up before a holiday trip or to impress one of your friends. Should you be interested in taking lessons in German I offer a free trial lesson. If you've enjoyed your first lesson and want to continue taking lessons, lesson options are either half an hour or hourly sessions max. 4 times a month.

Should you ever need to cancel a lesson, please let me know at least 4 hours in advance, otherwise I will need to charge you half of the lesson's price for lessons at mine and the full price for lessons at yours.
Please acknowledge that I am not able to travel to yours if you live more than 10 miles away.
