My aim is to offer a safe environment where you can learn from your mistakes and feel comfortable practicing speaking german.
I approach my german classes often with pictures or tasks which focus on how to form sentences, the word order and pronunciation. I think it is really important to practice speaking and the best way to do this by having conversations with someone who can help with missing vocabulary and is an expert in the language.
At the same time it is useful to practice writing to understand how sentences are formed and the spelling often helps with the pronunciation as well. For more advanced students I can help with how to write and structure an email as well as essay (GCSE or A-Level). I was always interest in literature and I can give advice on how to structure paragraphs, connecting phrases and useful vocabulary for specific topics.
From my own experience of learning a second language at school and then living in London and speaking English I can understand the difficulties and can help as much as possible.
